MS, reviewing stand with several rows of high-ranking American and South Korean Army officers. MS, Pres. Syngaman Rhee escorted by Gen. Maxwell Taylor and Gen. Bruce Clarke arrive to take up positions on reviewing stand. MCU, Pres. Rhee, Gen. Taylor, and Gen. Clarke. MS, South Korean Color Guard carrying National banners of US and Republic of South Korea. MS, Gen. Clarke, Gen. Taylor, American ambassador and Pres. Rhee saluting as National Anthem of South Korea and USA are played by Korean Army band. MS, (Live Sound), Lt. Col. reads the formal notice detaching several Korean Army Corps from control of the US X Corps and assigning them to the operational control of 1st ROK Army. CU, Lt. Gen. Bruce Clarke makes address and then introduces Gen. Pak Sun Yup who proceeds to address assembled formation in Korean over loadspeaker system. (Note: Framing at times is poor on CUs of both speakers. Gen. Pak speaks in Korean and English.)
